Shanghai, June 7- Huayi Brothers, China’s growth board listed entertainment complex, and Shanghai Oriental Pearl Media yesterday announced that they will further upgrade cooperation to 3.0 in 2016 and will continue to achieve deep cooperation on landing the Entertainer Project and incubating internet big movies.

The Entertainer Project is constantly optimizing and integrating product ecology. In the front end, the project will, based on a vertical social platform, drive fan consumption with diverse interaction methods; in the middle end, the project will bring out whole-week variety shows; while in the rear end, it will strengthen the long tail effect, relying on user data management, value-added operations and internet big movies and plays.

The project will also get through TV, APP, IPTV and Huayi’s other external resources to realize across-the-screen interaction between mobile phone, PC and TV. Matched with fans economy mode, analysts consider the move has created a kind of innovation which will be much attractive to a new generation of entertainment users.

Huayi Brothers has resource advantages in original movie, star resources, large fan base and efficient operation team, while Shanghai Oriental Pearl Media has resource strength in user data and copyright operation. Wang Zhonglei, vice chairman and CEO of Huayi Brothers, noted that their cooperation upgrades will make full use of resource advantage of both sides to create more original and smart entertainment projects through team joint and capital joint cooperation mode.

The two companies also announced internet big movies joint operation plan. Both sides will, in accordance with the mode and principle of joint venture & co-production, signing contracts in batches, co-operating and sharing copyright and benefits, create high-quality internet film and television benchmarking works together. So far, eight film and television works are firstly released, including original IP and hot IP adaptation and covering campus beauty series, thriller series, urban emotional TV show series as well as legend series.
