助力中国制造2025 UPS扩展中国至欧洲铁路货运服务

东方网记者姜文然3月28日报道:中国制造正在转型升级,智能制造和绿色制造将引导新的产业布局,这也给货运物流业提出了新的考验。

Shanghai, March 28- China’s domestic manufacturing enterprises are now seeking transformation and upgrading, which brings new challenges to logistics industry.

记者今日从UPS获悉,该公司旗下中国至欧洲的优先整箱(FCL)和拼箱(LCL)多式联运铁路货运服务新增六个站点。

UPS announced today the addition of six stations to its Preferred full and less-than-container load (FCL and LCL) multimodal rail service between Europe and China.

据悉,中国境内在现有郑州站和成都站的基础上,增加长沙站、重庆站、苏州站和武汉站。欧洲境内在现有波兰罗兹站和德国汉堡站的基础上,增加德国杜伊斯堡站和波兰华沙站。

Changsha, Chongqing, Suzhou and Wuhan Stations were added in China to the existing stations of Zhengzhou and Chengdu. In Europe, stops in Duisburg, Germany and Warsaw, Poland were added to the existing stops of Lodz, Poland and Hamburg, Germany.

UPS中国区货运代理业务副总裁顾震中表示,新增的站点未来将在全球最大的贸易通道提供更多货运方案,帮助制造业企业降低供应链成本,更好地平衡成本与运输时效要求。

The additional stations will give manufacturing enterprises moving goods on the world’s largest trade lane more options to reduce supply chain costs and better balance cost/time-in-transit requirements, according to Michael Gu, Vice President of China Freight Forwarding, UPS China.

当前,越来越多的中国中小企业正走上全球化道路,而随着生产成本和人力成本的升高,中国的制造业正从沿海城市向内陆城市转移。

Today, more Chinese SMEs are going global than ever before, and manufacturing locations in China are shifting from coastal to inland cities due to increased production and labor costs.

“考虑到上述四个中国城市近邻中国内陆的省级工业制造中心、商业中心和文化中心,” 顾震中指出,同时,它们也靠近长江沿岸,并将在经济发展中继续发挥重要作用。

The four new Chinese stations were chosen for their close proximity to provincial industrial manufacturing, commercial and cultural centers in interior China. Michael noted that they are also located close to or alongside the Yangtze River, an important historical logistics artery in the heart of China that continues to play an essential role in economic growth.

数据显示,中国和欧洲是全球最大的两家贸易合作伙伴,2016年贸易总额高达5147.79亿欧元。中国是欧盟最大的贸易进口商,进口总额达3446.42亿欧元。

Statistics show that China and the Europe are the two of the biggest trading partners in the world, with total trade volume valued at €514,779 million in 2016. China was the EU’s biggest trade importer, with a value of €344,642 million.

UPS中国区总裁黎松江表示,UPS扩展中国至欧洲铁路货运服务,旨在降低中欧之间内陆城市的运输成本,推动中欧贸易。

“Our strategic enhancement of the rail service between China and Europe aims at lowering transport costs for landlocked cities between China and Europe and enhancing international trade,” said Richard Loi, President of UPS China.
