沪生物科技企业赴美与业界共探生物材料创新


东方网记者姜文然4月24日报道:核心技术的突破让我国在生物材料科学领域走在了世界的前列,国内一批生物科技企业已展现出不俗的成绩。由归国留学人员创立的自主研发型高新技术企业上海松力生物技术有限公司就是其中一家。

Shanghai, April 24- China is leading the world in the field of biological materials science due to core technology breakthroughs. A batch of domestic biotech companies have turned in good performance. Shanghai PINE&POWER Biotech Co., Ltd., founded in 2002 by returned Chinese scholars, is one of them.

日前,这家专注于研发和生产生物外科学产品的上海本地生物科技企业赴美参加由中国生物材料学会与美国生物材料学会共同主办的主题为“生物材料的创新和监管”的中美生物材料学会第四次专题论坛。

Recently, the Shanghai-based bio-tech company focusing on the development and production of biological surgery products was invited to attend the 4th Joint Chinese/U.S. SFB Workshop on Regulation, Standards and Innovation.

其董事长、总经理何红兵作为唯一的中国企业代表受邀做主题发言,以“超越脱细胞基质的创新性再生技术——超亲水性静电纺复合支架材料的研究进展”为题,现场分享了国内生物材料科学领域最新的创新实践。

Its Chairman and General Manager He Hongbing was the only representative of the Chinese enterprises to be invited to give a keynote speech. With the theme of “Innovative Technologies Beyond Decellularized Extracellular Matrix-NOVEL ELECTROSPUN SCAFFOLDS FOR SOFT TISSUE REGENERATION”, he shared the latest innovative practices in the domestic biological materials science field.

目前,外科手术应用中的软组织补片主要分为人工合成材料和生物材料,人工合成材料存在不可吸收的弊端,容易出现慢性感染、侵蚀等,而生物补片具有良好的组织相容性和组织重塑能力,在植入人体后,可以完全被吸收,再生成为自己原来的组织。

Currently, there are two kinds of the soft tissue patches applied in surgery: synthetic materials and biological materials. The former is not able to be absorbed, which will bring about chronic infection and erosion, etc. While the latter, with good histocompatibility and tissue remodeling ability, can be fully absorbed after implantation in the human body and regenerate their original tissue.

何红兵认为,在生物医用材料中,生物材料取代人工合成材料已是大势所趋。据介绍,“中国原创、世界首创”的松力静电纺纳米级超亲水生物复合材料是一种类似于人体细胞外基质的智能生物材料,将开创组织修复生物材料的新纪元。

Synthetic materials will eventually be replaced by biological materials, according to He Hongbing, their latest independently developed Songli nanoscale superhydrophilic electrospinning biocomposite is a kind of intelligent biomaterial similar to the extracellular matrix of human body, which will hopefully create a new era of tissue repair biological materials.

据介绍,出席此次研讨会的嘉宾均是中美生物材料领域的权威专家,就中美双方在生物材料领域中监管、标准以及审评等方面的交流和协调,在产业、商务及临床研究和应用方面合作的途径和可能实施的领域以及创新产品的研发及研发成果的产业化等方面进行了探讨。

All guests attending the workshop are world’s leading experts in the field of biological materials, gathering together and sharing their thoughts on regulation, standards and innovation of biomaterials and medical devices in China and the U.S.

在此次中美生物材料论坛上,两国药监官员们都表示了对创新医疗器械的支持。美国FDA Dr. Edward Margerrison, Director, Office of Science and Engineering, Center for Devices and Radiological Health(CDRH),在演讲中表示,FDA的职责不仅仅是监管,还包括鼓励和扶持早期创新医疗项目,使得创新产品能够早日获批上市,创新的生物技术市场前景广阔。

Both China’s and the US officials from drug administration at the forum expressed their support for innovative medical devices. Dr. Edward Margerrison, Director of Science and Engineering Office, Center for Devices and Radiological Health, noted that FDA’s responsibilities include not only the regulation, but also providing support for innovative healthcare projects in early stage.

在前三次研讨会的基础上,中美生物材料专题论坛第四次专题研讨会进一步地扩大讨论生物医药材料标准、监管、成果转化和创新。在何红兵看来,本次研讨会对促进中美双方在生物材料科学与产业方面的合作交流和国际化具有重要意义。

As with previous workshops, it seeks to develop collaborative relationships to advance the technology of medical products for the benefit of Society. In He Hongbing’s view, the workshop is of great significance to China-US cooperation and exchange in the field of biological materials science and industry.

值得一提的是,论坛主办方邀请何红兵做主题演讲,正是看重于他在国际生物材料科学领域的诸多建树。何红兵曾先后在奥地利Wels总医院和Lainz 医院,日本国家心血管病中心和日本九州大学生物工程系作为访问学者、博士后和派遣研究员工作,致力于组织工程和生物外科学研发二十多年。

Notably, He Hongbing was invited to give a keynote speech by the workshop’s organizer due to his contribution in the world’s biological materials science field. He, successively becoming a visiting scholar, post-doctor and dispatched researcher at Wels General Hospital and Lainz Hospital in Austria and Japan’s National Center for Cardiovascular Disease and Bioengineering Department of Kyushu University, has been devoted to the research and development of biological surgery for more than 20 years.
