Shanghai, June 20- The Lujiazui Forum opened today at the Shanghai International Convention Center, gathering more than 400 central bank governors, financial regulators and experts from home and abroad to discuss regulatory reforms and financial support for the economy.

With the theme of “Financial Reform and Steady Development from a Global Perspective”, the two-day forum has arranged six plenary sessions covering topics including financial reforms, the Belt and Road initiative, and Shanghai’s endeavors in supporting technology and innovation and cross-segment financial regulation.

The forum has been held for the last eight years co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, the People’s Bank of China, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
