The world economy appears positive momentum, since this year, and China is leading the economic growth in major economies, according to Harvey Schwartz, President and Co-chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs.

The world economy is now in good shape, improving from a year ago. Harvey Schwartz noted in a press conference held in Beijing that China’s leading economic growth in major economies.

He expresses confidence in world economic outlook as the economic recovery of Europe and the United States arrives, the market price of international commodity remains stable and the inflation of major economies also moderate.

He admitted that the recovery of the world economy still faces many unstable and uncertain factors, such as the policy trend of the US tax reform, the UK’s “brexit” process and geopolitical factors.

Harvey Schwartz said Goldman has been very bullish about China’s economic prospects and that the Chinese market is increasingly important in corporate strategy.

He marveled at the dynamism of the Chinese economy, “every time I visit China, I’m amazed at how fast the Chinese society is going digital.”
