The Changle Princess docks at a cruise terminal in Sanya, Hainan
Province, yesterday. The new cruise ship began its maiden voyage to the
Xisha Islands in the South China Sea yesterday afternoon, with 308
passengers on board.
The first voyage will last four days and three
nights, and tourists can visit the islands of Yinyu, Quanfu and Yagong,
said an official of Hainan Strait Shipping Co, which spent 230 million
yuan (US$33 million) building the vessel.
