Zhenjiang, known as "the Home of Sweet & Sour", is situated on the crossway of the third longest river in the world - the Yangtze River and the longest man-made canal in the world - the Grand Canal. Zhenjiang is close to Nanjing, Changzhou and Yangzhou. The city has a population of 2.67 million and a land area of 3,847 km2. Affected by the Asian Monsoon and Yangtze River, Zhenjiang has a subtropical climate and distinct seasons.
