A two-day international conference exploring visual technology trends in the film industry was held at the Beijing Film Academy on Nov 16 and 17.

The event, the International Conference & Exhibition on Visual Entertainment, was co-organized by the academy, China's top film academy, and the China Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.

The forums and discussions were attended by entrepreneurs, scholars and scientists from China, Japan, the United States, and Germany.

The professionals explored the use of artificial intelligence in film production.

The development of virtual reality technology was also a focus on the two-day conference.

Awards were given to some Chinese films for their use of visual technology.
