Exhibition showcases Qing Dynasty culture
From:Xinhua  |  2020-01-20 21:29

ZHENGZHOU, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition showcasing the culture of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) is being held in central China's Henan Province.

More than 100 cultural relics are on display for the first time in the Zhengzhou Museum in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital. All the exhibits are related to Emperor Qianlong, including portraits, robes, jade and calligraphy, among others.

The exhibition also tells the story of the emperor's life and his military strategies, as well as his personal life outside the royal court.

"Emperor Qianlong visited Henan 270 years ago, and now the treasures from the Palace Museum in Beijing show that period in its original glory," said Zhao Gushan, with Art Exhibitions China, co-organizer of the exhibition.

The exhibition will last until mid-March.
