A visitor admires ink-wash artwork at Shanghai’s Jade Buddha Temple. Launched at the weekend, the free exhibition displays over 80 traditional Chinese paintings about the daily life of a boy monk and his meditation on the Zen. The exhibition runs through Saturday. The Chinese ink-wash paintings were created by renowned artist and cartoonist Quan Yingsheng.— Ti Gong
