Shanghai, August 23- Another world-class theme park will open in Shanghai.

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park which is located in Lingang New City currently has headed up its mainengineering structure and is to open next summer.

The park is adjacent to the Line 16 Subway terminus. The project covers an area of 450mu, with atotal construction areaof about 220,000 square meters.

The Shanghai Haichang Polar Ocean World will include nine large exhibition venues, three animal exhibition & performance venues, two large cinemas and 12 amusement facilities.

One of the ocean park’s highlights is the specially created Super Bowl for penguin exhibition, which will provide visitors 360° angle of view to enjoy the sight of penguins and other ocean polar animals.

At present, the Super Bowl has been shipped to the ocean park and will be installed soon. The park is expected to receive 5 to 6 million person-time every year after the trial operation.
