With the broadcast of the new TV show “Memory of the Taste”, audiences become to realize what people will miss when they are away from home is not the finely cooked dishes but the homemade food by families.

The TV show aims at giving comfort to family members abroad. However producers have come across many problems during the working process. Ruo Meng said the biggest problem was how to transport and store food materials since different Customs had different requirements. They have to find out ways to bring the rawest taste to the main character.

Many audiences are curious about how to elect a main character. Ruo Meng said that they will take in account the job, age and gender. They hope that every main character can represent a certain group of people. What’s more, the director said they required the main character to have a strong emotional string with his or her homemade food.
