A shadow play campus public welfare activity opened in Bandai Namco Shanghai Base on March 27. Sponsored by China Next Generation Education Foundation and Bandai Namco Shanghai Trading company, a famous Japanese entertainment company, the one-month event is themed at global children’s inheriting Chinese civilization.

The public performance has two parts: the opening ceremony and campus activity. At the opening ceremony on March 27, characters from Bandai's classic music game "Taiko no Tatsujin" staged in the form of shadow play, evoking great repercussionamong students. Yin Zhiping, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage has been invited to the opening ceremony to personally programme the show.

In the next month, the activity team would go to various primary schools in Shanghai to provide children with the opportunity to learn from the professional shadow puppeteers about the classic art form.
