An exhibition themed “Travelling comics from China to Greece” is touring Greece. On November 8, it moved from the Hellenic Cosmos to the Museum of the City of Athens, so Chinese ink-wash animation can now be enjoyed by Athenians.

The first stop of the exhibition, which features over 100 pieces of excellent animation and cartoon works from contemporary China, has been very popular with the Greeks. Invited by the Museum of the City of Athens, the artworks from China will be displayed in the museum until November 11. The Chinese organizing committee has permanently donated the artworks to the museum, which will later organize an exhibition tour across the city.
This is the first time this group of works has been showcased in Greece. Anthony G.Voyadzis, Chairman of the Museum of the City of Athens, spoke highly of the exhibition, regarding it as an opportunity for Greece to learn more about China. With animation art as the carrier, more young people can understand and get a greater feeling for China. As he said, he was honored to have the opportunity to hold the exhibition and communicate with Chinese artists. He hoped to have closer exchanges with China, and welcomed more Chinese art to the museum.
