SHANGHAI Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang District will offer 12 night tours this summer, inviting children to explore the secrets of magic nature via a variety of activities.

The night tour known as "Fantastic Night in Chenshan," one of the most popular events of the garden, will start on June 30. The two-day tour includes picking fruit and vegetable, classes on different plants, making succulents, a night tour of greenhouses, observing insects at night, watching 4D film and creating leaf paintings, to list some.

Children aged between seven and 10 years old can participate.

The event aims to spur children's interest on nature and different plants, the garden operator said.
