Parks and scenic spots in Shanghai will offer half price or even free admission to women on March 8 to mark the International Women’s Day.

Among them are Shanghai Disney Resort, Shanghai Botanical Garden, Gongqing Forest Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Binjiang Forest Park, Shanghai Happy Valley and Zuibaichi Park.

The Shanghai Botanical Garden in Xuhui District where cherry blossoms are in full bloom will offer half-price ticket for women tomorrow, as will the Gongqing Forest Park in Yangpu District.

The Guyi Garden inNanxiang Town in Jiading District, which is one of Shanghai’s oldest and the most beautiful classical gardens, will also offer half-price ticket on the day.

The Binjiang Forest Park in Pudong New Area will offer half-price admission for all visitors tomorrow, while some lucky women will receive a pot of azalea as gift.

The Zuibaichi Park in Songjiang District will offer free admission for women.

The Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong will offer half-price ticket, or 185 yuan (US$28), for all visitors if they visit after 2pm that day. The Shanghai Happy Valley in Songjiang has the same deal,or 115 yuan per person between Thursday and Sunday.
