The 2018 China International Adult Toys and Reproductive Health Exhibition opened in Shanghai on Monday.

Over 300 companies from China and abroad, including the US, the UK, Germany and regions like Hong Kong and Taiwan, are gathered at the 14,000 square-meter exhibition area to showcase the latest products and technologies strictly for adults.

Some 2,000 international buyers, 6,000 domestic buyers and tens of thousands of visitors will participate in the three-day event.

Shanghai started to hold the Adult Expo in 2004 to boost industry development and public awareness on reproductive health and safety, officials said.

High-tech adult products are highlighted in the exhibition, including products with artificial intelligence and app-related technologies.
