In order to celebrate the upcoming National Maritime Day on July 11, the city has launched an artwork contest called “drawing your dream of voyaging."

The contest is seeking paintings themed on navigation. It can be a sketch that reflects the developments of the maritime industry, or a painting full of imagination about the future ocean.

The contest welcomes participants from all age groups to show off their talents.

Selected pieces will be presented at the opening ceremony of National Maritime Day and printed on T-shirts and postcards.

The deadline for submissions is May 31.

How to participate

Step 1: Send a photo of your artwork to huihua@maritimeforum.cn or submit it through the official WeChat account 'ShanghaiJiaotong.'
