Shanghai Daily recently carried a storyabout the historical Cloisters Apartments and Blackstone Apartments in Xuhui District, which will open to public next year.

One of our readers, identified as Tess, asked us upon reading the news: Does this mean they're moving people out of these residents? True of the Cloisters? Anyone know what's going on at the Blackstone?

Shanghai Daily learned from Xuhui District Culture Bureau that the Cloisters Apartments currently have no resident living inside.

Previously, the building served as the officeof the Hunan Road community. They have been relocated for the public opening.

The Blackstone Apartments will mainly open its first and second floors, while the residents are living on the third and above floors.
