A China Eastern Airlines aircraft takes off from Phuket, Thailand, to Shanghai on Saturday.

Local airlines are offering free ticket changing services to take local tourists back home as early as possible after two boats carrying 127 Chinese tourists capsized in southern Thailand on Thursday.

The Shanghai-based China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines as well as the Spring and Juneyao airlines have opened emergency hotlines on Saturday to help Chinese tourists fly back, the airlines announced on Saturday.

The airlines have also opened "green channels" to take family members of the Chinese victims to Phuket where the accident happened, the carriers announced.

"China Eastern will offer priorities to families who need to fly to Thailand in emergency," the airline said in a statement.

The Spring Airlines took four family members of the victims to Thailand with its first flight on Saturday morning. The Flight 9C8973 has landed in Phuket around 7am, the budget carrier said.

The Juneyao Airlines promised to take any survivors in the accident back to Shanghai free. The injurers and their family members will have the top priority to take returned flights home, the airline said.

Two boats with tourists on board capsized in waters near Phuket during rainstorms on Thursday evening.
