Authorities promised yesterday to correct signs on the platform of Beixinjing Station, on Metro Line 2, after being informed of the error by a passenger. English markers for Tianshan West Road were translated as Tianshan East Road, which does not exist. All other indicators and signs at the station bear the road’s correct name. Shanghai Shentong Metro Groups said they will fix the error and so far they have not received other complaints about this mistake.
