The 2018 national youth gymnastic summer camp closed in Shanghai on August 10, giving more than 200 children from all over the city and neighboring provinces three weeks of gymnastic training.

The summer camp was hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China, Chinese Gymnastic Association and inspireSports. It aims to improve Chinese children’s physical capabilities.

The physical condition of each child was assessed by professionals. They also received all-round training in strength, agility and balance stability. Special tests were also held for the children at the end of the camp.
