A huge sign board is erected on Thursday at the media center of the China International Import Expo to celebrate Chinese Journalists Day.

The Shanghai Information Office celebrated Chinese Journalists Day on Thursday with a huge sign erected at the China International Import Expo and a very large cake. It was showing its appreciation for the work of journalists from both home and abroad in reporting on the import expo.

Reporters arriving at the media center were asked to add their signatures to the sign and given a golden pin to commemorate the occasion.

The cake, which had the expot mascot,Jinbao, on top,was designed and baked by three chefs from Sofitel Shanghai Sheshan Oriental.
