More than 100 experts from China and abroad, including the US, Hungary and Germany, gathered at a conference in Shanghai recently to share their ideas and latest findings on interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research of bio-linguistics.
The international bio-linguistic conference was the third of its kind organized by the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
The participants talked on topics including bio-linguistic theories and research methods, bio-linguistics and language acquisition, bio-linguistics and neurolinguistics, bio-linguistics and evolutionary linguistics, as well as bio-linguistics and animal communication.
