Shanghai’s teenagers are being given the opportunity to showcase their abilities and express their views on the world in a show themed around the Belt and Road Initiative.

The “Learn & Show: Teenagers’ Multiple Abilities Show,” hosted by the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Foundation and Eastday, a local media company, is open to all teenagers in the city, regardless of nationality.

Participants will be invited to outline their cultural achievements, scientific innovations and tell their own stories in an innovative way.

The first show will be staged at the end of the month. Students will be divided into three groups according to their grade levels at school.

Teenagers wishing to take part can sign up on Sina Weibo or WeChat for a competition that will feature speeches, paintings or inventions that express their ideas about the world.
