From:Shine  |  2019-01-17 09:29

A bird’s-eye view of the construction site of one of the most complex Metro stations, Lujiazui Station on Line 14 in the Pudong New Area. Work is due to finish around 2020. Smack in the center of the concrete jungle that is Lujiazui CBD, the site is encased in a steel structure to prevent noise and dust pollution. A glass curtain wall and vertical greening make the facade more pleasing on the eye than many other construction sites. Tunneling has reached 29 meters beneath the ground and passes only 6 meters from the basement of the Bank of East Asia. It is not the only construction site on Line 14 that is totally covered up. Yuanshen Road and Changyi Road stations, also in Pudong, are also under wraps.
