Shanghai Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine signed an agreement with Rui’an City in Zhejiang Province to set up a TCM hospital cooperation network, offering help to Rui’an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Yueyang will send leading specialists to give training to doctors in Rui'an and offer long-distance group consultation and guidance through 5G-based Internet.

With the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region, Yueyang has established cooperation with Ningbo, Zhoushan, Yuyao and Wenling with good effects. People in these place needn’t go all the way to Shanghai, but can receive high-quality service at their home.

“We established strategic cooperation with Datong District TCM Hospital and Dafeng TCM Hospital in Nantong this year to set up a closer network on medical research, clinical practice and talent training. We also established a cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation alliance with the participation of 37 hospitals in the Yangtze River Delta region to improve the ability on the treatment of cardiac vascular diseases,” said Dr Zhou Jia, president of Yueyang.
