Shanghai will further intensify its coronavirus prevention and control measures concerning imported cases and asymptomatic patients, a move which comes as China’s hardest-hit city, Wuhan, capital ofHubei Province, lifted its travel ban on Wednesday.
Enterprises in Shanghai are encouraged to arrange COVID-19 nucleic acid tests for workers newly returning to Shanghai.
They can apply with local health commissions in different districts to have their workers’ test samples taken for analysis at qualified medical institutions.
Other measures involve preliminary screening through fever clinics, epidemiology investigations of suspected cases and the management of health codes.
