Shanghai adds 3 more streets retaining fallen leaves scenery
By:Wang Jiaye  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2015-11-23 13:22

Every autumn, golden fallen leaves are one of the most charming sceneries in Shanghai. Xuhui District first retained fallen leaves for some days instead of sweeping them up right off in 2013 and then extended the trial to 6 roads. This year, other 3 streets in Putuo District join in the rank. The best viewing period is expected from late November to middle December.

It is worth mentioning that almost all of these streets are flanked by a number of former residences of celebrities, garden villas, cafes and book stores.

The current 6 streets retaining fallen leaves in Xuhui:

Wukang Rd, Fuxing Rd West (Yongfu Rd – Huashan Rd), Hunan Rd (Wukang Rd – Yongfu Rd), Yuqing Rd, Wuxing Rd and Yongfu Rd

徐汇区现有的6条落叶景观道:武康路、复兴西路(永福路-华山路)、湖南路(武康路-永福路)、余庆路、吴兴路、永福路

The new added 3 streets in Putuo:

Tongbai Rd (Zaoyang Rd- Meiling Rd South), Huaxi Rd (Tongbai Rd- Fengqiao Rd) and Zaoyang Rd (Yangliuqing Rd –Tongbai Rd)

普陀区新增的3条景观道:桐柏路(枣阳路-梅岭南路)、花溪路(桐柏路-枫桥路)、枣阳路(杨柳青路-桐柏路)
