以色列驻沪总领事馆庆祝第68个独立日

Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai held an evening reception to celebrate the 68th Independence Day of the State of Israel, May 24, 2016.

2016年5月24日，以色列驻沪总领事馆举行国庆日晚宴，隆重庆祝第68个独立日。

Mr. Amikam, the Israeli Consul General in Shanghai warmly welcomed the guests. He said in the opening speech that he appreciates the strong support of China to Israel and the selfless help of Shanghai people to Jewish people during the World War II. Meanwhile, he is pleased to see a growing number of bilateral cooperation between the two sides.

以色列驻沪总领事安迈凯先生（大使衔）热烈欢迎出席晚宴的各位嘉宾。他在开幕演讲中表示，感谢中国对以色列的大力支持，感谢上海人民在二战中对犹太人民的无私帮助，同时，他很欣慰地看到中以之间越来越多的双边合作。

The romantic consul general also prepared roses for all the female guests. Red roses represent passion and happiness. On this joyful day, he hoped to give the blessing to everyone.

浪漫的总领事先生还为所有在场的女嘉宾准备了一份玫瑰花，红色的玫瑰代表着热情和幸福，在这个开心的日子，他希望把祝福传递给每一个人。

It is worth mentioning that the consul general's wife served as the emcee of the reception. The couple's humorous interaction won the audience's laughter and applause.

值得一提的是，总领事夫人是晚宴的司仪，她与总领事之间的幽默调侃赢得了全场的笑声和掌声。

About 500 guests from all walks of life attended the evening reception.

大约500名来自各行各业的嘉宾出席了晚宴。
