Shanghai, June 21- The 45km coastline of the Huangpu River will be basically completed by the end of this month. Of the whole coastline, the 2.8km south section of the Yangpu Waterfront, which has a century-old industrial history, will be completely finished.

The 2.8km south section of the Yangpu Waterfront, with the Yangshupu Water Factory, the Shanghai Shipyard, China’s First Fish Market, the New Jardine Cotton Mill and other old factory buildings, are considered Yangpu District’s 100-year-old industrial expo belt.

At present, the Yangshupu Water Factory on the Yangpu Waterfront, on the basis of the historic buildings, has realized the connection with water piers.

The former“China’s first fish market” has become a new landmark on the Huangpu River: the Eastern Fisherman’s Wharf and the waterfront’s performance area has been opened to tourists. The photo above is a full view ofthe 2.8km south section of the Yangpu Waterfront.
