Shopping spree at CNSC Duty-free Shop
By:Wu Qiong  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2017-08-02 09:01

The CNSC Duty-free Shop has become a shopping paradise since it began offering 88% off discounts on July 30th.

To celebrate the first anniversary of its opening, the shop is offering a 10-day discount event. Most of its goods, including popular brands such as SK-II and Shiseido, are on sale at an 88% off discount. On the first day of the event, customers lined up outside the gate at around 5 a.m., even though it did not open until 10 a.m. An estimated 10,000 shoppers passed through on that day.

Customers on presentation of their passports, which have a record of entry or exit over the past six months, can purchase the goods at the shop for a specific amount in one go. Cosmetics with prices 50% lower than those in the brands’ dedicated counters are most shoppers’ favorite picks.

Operated by the China National Service Corporation (CNSC), the shop located in Caojiadu Commercial Area was opened on August 8th, 2016, with the claim of being the largest duty-free store in downtown Shanghai.
