‘We media’ becomes a new trend among teachers
By:Wu Qiong  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2017-08-07 09:05

With the rise of “we media,” on the Internet, everyone can be an information provider or content creator. Teachers are no exception. They are now turning to “we media” for a new life outside the classroom.

Some teachers have created WeChat public accounts to fully play their role in education. Through the platform, they are able to post articles or videos related to the teaching and learning of different subjects. However, you would be wrong if you expect them to be boring. The content provided by these teachers is both fun and helpful.

During an interview, a Math teacher nicknamed “Xiaoyue” told the reporter that he has been operating a WeChat public account since last February. He has posted quite a few articles about the secrets of learning Math. Thanks to his humorous wording and innovative ideas, the WeChat account has attracted many followers.

Unlike Xiaoyue, other teachers regard “we media” as a venue to free their inner passions. Their Wechat accounts have nothing to do with teaching or learning advice. Instead, they’ve found another identity, either it be literary critic, essay writer or expert on child raising. “We media” has spiced up their life after work. Moreover, their rich and positive lifestyle is also an inspiration for students.
