Shanghai, August 4- Hailun Road will have to be closed for construction starting on the night of August 4. At that time, vehicles and pedestrians will have to make a detour.

The closed segments include Hailun Road (Wuzhou Road – Haila’er Road), the old bridge of Shajing Harbor as well as Shajinggang Road (Tianshui Road- Hailun Road).

Besides, Hujiamuqiao Road (Tongzhou Road- Hailun Road) will change from the original south-to-north one-way street to north-to-south.

The whole project will be finished by the end of 2017. At that time, Hailun Road will change from a 10-meter-wide road to a very wide road.

Notably, vehicles will no longer need to make a detour through Tongzhou Road and can get through to Siping Road directly.
