City’s overhead bridge wrapped with“green coat”
By:Jiang  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2017-08-08 15:33

Shanghai, August 4- A photo taken today shows thick creepers wrapping the city’s overhead bridge at the intersection of South Zhongshan No. 1 Road and Luban Road, Huangpu District.

The thick creepers look like a “green coat” wrapping the bridge and pillars.

In fact, these creepers were planted by the district’s Greening Management Department in order to beautify the bridges and pillars and create an eco-city landscape.

The creepers have provided a green landscape after five years’ growth.

Photo taken today shows people enjoying the shade of these thick creepers.

When looked at from away, the thick creepers look like an “urban forest”.
