Shanghai enjoys concert by performers from China, US and Thailand

An impressive concert by Círculo Trio, an ensemble group consists of instrumentalists from China, America and Thailand was held at Shanghai Grand Theater on September 12.

The excellent cooperation between American violinist Hayne Kim, Thailand clarinetist Tanyawat Dilokkunanant and Chinese pianist Wang Zhao contributed to audiences special acoustical banquet and spiritual refreshing.

Classic repertoire ranging from the 18th century to the 21stccentury such as Vocalise by Russian virtuoso pianist Sergei Rachmaninoff, Humoresque by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak were re-performed at the concert through the unique combination of the violin, clarinet and piano, presenting listeners intoxicating rhythms and fascinating beauty.

For the sake of their small performing tour in China, the orchestra specially chose two well-known Chinese folk songs Jasmine Flowers (Molihua)and Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake in which the performers infused their own understanding of the works and expressed moving sentiment through melodious cantus.

Formed in the music college of University of Michigan in 2005, Círculo Triois a young troupe which possesses profound skills of classical music performing. With balanced and natural programming approach, the trio's performance often embodies strong contagiousappeal.
