Good news for people who are seeking fun and excitement during the Golden Week: Starting October 1, a magic festival is being celebrated at the Happy Valley of Shanghai. 

From October 1 to October 8, around 20 well-known magicians from ten countries and regions around the world, including Spain, Ukraine, Mexico and the U.S.A., are sweeping a wave of magic tricks throughout the amusement park. More than 30 exclusive performances will be staged during the eight-day event, presenting mentalism, levitation and quick-change tricks and leaving the audience completely dumbfounded.

Moreover, unlike previous years, the annual Halloween carnival, which is especially popular among the younger generations, will be held earlier. It will open on the night of October 1 and will last for 43 days until November 12.
