South Hongmei Road’s new project opened on September 29 to traffic from South Hongmei Road to Jinhai Road.

The elevated project totals 10.89 kilometers, north to Shangzhong Road of the central road and south to Yongde Road, connecting the cross-river tunnel.

The new project has four bothway lanes, with designed speed per hour of 80 km/h.

Six pairs of up-and-down ramps are arranged on the north of Chunshen Road, north of Yindu Road, south of Shuangbai Road, north of Yuanjiang Road, south of Yuanjiang Road and north of Fanghe Road.

It will greatly improve the transportation from the central city to Minhang District and Fengxian District.
