The combination of yellow ginkgo leaves and Beethoven’smusic
In Shanghai, it is a season for yellow ginkgo leaves. The “Ginkgo Concert“ forthe 190th anniversaryof the death of Beethoven” was held in the southern square in front of Shanghai Concert Hall last weekend, as the name suggests, people can listen to the music performance while watching the yellow ginkgo leaves in such a poetic space day and night.
“Ginkgo Concert” is a five-year-old outdoor public welfare brand and it was still open to all people this time who just need to make a reservation. People without a reservation also found a place outside the southern square, enjoying the view and the music.
The piano and performance including Beethoven’sBagatelle No. 25inA minor ("FürElise"), Turkish March and Sixth Symphony (“Pastoral”), has reflected his deep love for nature and personal will. The multimedia and lighting design, as an attempt, intended to interpret both Beethoven’s music and nature.
