The Dolby Cinema footprint in China is expanding. The first Dolby Cinema in Shanghai opened on Wuzhong Road, Minhang District, on December 16.

The first Dolby Cinema in Shanghai includes the Dolby Atmos sound technology and Dolby Vision laser projection system. The combination of Dolby technologies with the design of the Dolby Cinema makes the audience feel closer to the onscreen action.

There is also a LUXE hall in the cinema, which is equipped with the industry’s first premium screen made by nanotechnology, offering movie watchers a large-format theater experience. What’s more, with a contrast ratio of 600:1, the screen prevents occurrences of a ghost image.

Last but not least, the cinema has a Meyer Sound hall and a children’s hall to cater to the needs of different audience groups.
