On December 20, Turkish Consul General in Shanghai Sabri Tunc Angili paid a visit to Changning district. Gu Honghui, head of the Changning District Government, met with him and his party.

Gu Honghui said Changning, an international, green and livable urban district famed for “longevity and healthy and sound life”, provides a high-quality environment for the life and work of foreign friends, institutions and businesses. A large number of international cultural events are held here each year and the district welcomes the opportunity to be the venue for Turkish cultural events. Moreover, Changning maintains friendly exchange with some foreign urban districts including Izmir in Turkey and he wished to see more cultural and economic exchange and cooperation between the two sides.

Consul General Sabri Tunc Angili spoke on the development of tourism and culture of his country and he also called for increasing cultural and tourist exchange and economic cooperation between the two sides.
