“Internet+” becomes useful recruitment tool in China
By:Pan Chenxiao  |  From:english.eastday.com  |  2018-03-06 09:39

To find out the features of this spring's job fair and the changes of the labor market, a reporter has visited the spring job fairs in Guangdong, Shanghai, Hebei and Shanxi.

Jin Xiaojie, aged 36, said after trying a remote interview in the employment promotion center of Baoshan District, Shanghai for a mechanical and electrical job, “The remote interview feels like chatting with my family, more relaxing than being face to face.” “Internet+” is becoming the new job search channel for the migrant workers. More and more new tools are adopted such as video interview for recruitment. The migrant workers can quickly interview several companies at a time and HR can save the interview cost.

Most of the candidates at the Guangzhou's human resources market service center learn to scan the code for jobs, instead of filling in the form with a pen.

At the job fair in Xi'an, the salary of the enterprises is generally raised by 10 percent than last year. Otherwise, many of them offer five social insurance and one housing fun, apartment-style dormitory, work meal and paid leave.

Ding Shengwei, a job seeker born in the 1980s said, “It is easier to find a job this year.” He told that he places more emphasis on job prospects.
