The 6th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) will be held from April 19th to 21st at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. An estimated 50,000 visitors will be expected during the three-day event. So what can we expect at the CSITF?

According to Xinmin.cn, the host of the event said that a large number of leading professional technologies will be unveiled, from cutting-edge technologies such as quantum communications technology and emotional interaction-based AI, to smart cooking machines, color-changing towels, luminous flowers and other practical technologies.

Besides, for the first time ever, a "Shanghai Craftsmen" exhibition area, taking up an area of 400 square meters, will be set up at this year's CSITF where craftsmen are invited to display their special skills on site.

With a total exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, the 6th CSITF themed on “Innovation-driven Development, Intellectual Property Protection, Technology Trade Promotion” aims to showcase the latest technologies from all over the world and facilitate the docking, trading and application of them. Whether the technologies to be displayed are the first in China, Asia Pacific, or even the world is the focus of the fair.“We prefer exhibitors that can bring us latest technologies,” said the host of the event.

Moreover, exhibitors from Oslo, Heraklion and Yokohama, which are this year’s honorary guest cities, will showcase professional technologies like green energy and innovations in smart education.
