中英双语 Expo showcases strengths of Chinese brands

On May 10th, China Brand Day, the first Exposition on Chinese Indigenous Brands kicked off with the theme of “China Brand, World Sharing” at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, showcasing a feast of Chinese brands to a Shanghai audience.

Covering approximately 25,000 square meters, the exposition consists of three major exhibition areas alongside a variety of featured activities. More than 50 delegations; over 600 famed Chinese companies; over 100 small and medium-sized innovative enterprises; and more than 20 brand service agencies gathered to showcase the strengths of their own brand.

A highlight of the expo, the Shanghai Pavilion, vividly depicts the development of Shanghai brands in both traditional and innovative ways. It is divided into five sections: "Shanghai Service," "Made in Shanghai," "Shanghai Shopping," "Shanghai Culture" and "Shanghai Science and Innovation." In "Shanghai Shopping," for example, people can see time-honored brands like Lao Feng Xiang Jewelry, White Rabbit Creamy Candy, Guangming Dairy and Xing Hua Lou Restaurant, which are evolving with the times and becoming more popular among the younger generation. Among the eye-catching exhibitions are 24-color ink jars presented by old brand Hero and the limited editions of anti-mosquito lotion launched by Liushen and Disney. In the “Shanghai Service” section, themed around “High-quality Development, High-quality Life,” a healthy, smart and warm Shanghai is showcased to the audience.

Visitors can also participate in various games and interactive activities, through which they can have more understanding of Shanghai brands. Thanks to technology, they can play as a subway driver on an interactive console.

At the fair of brands from all provinces and municipalities across the country, corporate delegations make great efforts to exhibit their brands. Many female visitors are attracted by Alibaba’s virtual fitting mirror. Once the user stands in front of it, the mirror activates smart facial and body recognition tools and creates a virtual model. Then the user adjusts the face shape, body size and hairstyle of the model and selects a set of clothes for her to try on.

Other provinces and municipalities bring local specialties to the expo, such as Tianjin’s Gou Bu Li steamed buns, Ningxia’s Helan Qingxue Vineyard red wine and Jiangsu’s Xuyi lobsters.

Another highlight of the expo are the state-owned enterprises. Thirteen companies, including China Railway Group, China State Shipbuilding Corporation, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation demonstrate their brands, featuring high-quality and marketable products.

The expo runs through May 12 and is free to the public.


中国品牌日:各省市展品亮点纷呈观众尽享品牌盛宴

东方网王笑阳、吴琼报道:5月10日“中国品牌日”,以“中国品牌 世界共享”为主题的首届中国自主品牌博览会在上海展览中心开幕,一场融合了传统与现代的品牌盛宴在申城上演。

博览会展示面积约2.5万平方米,设置中央展区、地方展区、品牌服务展区等三大展区,并配特色活动展示平台。活动现场,50余个参展代表团、600余家国内知名品牌企业、100余家创新型中小企业和20余个品牌服务机构齐聚展会,集中展示自主品牌魅力。

作为展会中的重头戏,上海馆按照“上海服务”“上海制造”“上海购物”“上海文化”“上海科创”五大板块,以传统与创新、现实与虚拟结合的方式,生动演绎了上海品牌的前世今生。在“上海购物”板块,老凤祥、大白兔、光明、杏花楼等老字号不仅让观众重温了上海生活的经典记忆,也展现了品牌与时俱进的“年轻化”趋势。“国民钢笔”英雄牌展出的宛如指甲油造型的24色彩色墨水、六神与迪士尼强强联合推出的跨界合作限量版花露水……令人耳目一新。“上海服务”板块则以“高品质发展,高质量生活”为主题,展现了健康、智慧、温暖的上海服务。

参观之余,还可参与各种游戏和互动,如:“品牌消消乐”小游戏,在娱乐中认识更多的上海品牌。观众还可以借助高科技,当一回地铁驾驶员,在真实可触的操作台上模拟驾驶过程。 

此次博览会是全国各省市品牌的盛会,各大企业代表团各出奇招,例如阿里巴巴的“好买衣”智能试衣镜,吸引了不少女性观众的目光。一位女性观众好奇地站在镜子面前,智能试衣镜立即启动了智能人脸与身材识别,为她创建了一个虚拟的试衣模特。随后她根据自身情况对虚拟模特的脸型、身材和发型进行了调整,并为自己挑选了一套中意的服饰。据展商介绍,通过该款智能试衣镜,用户可以尝试很多自己从未尝试过的着装风格,既好玩又好用。

还有一些省市带来了富有地域特色的品牌产品,如天津的狗不理包子、宁夏贺兰晴雪酒庄的葡萄酒、江苏的盱眙龙虾等。

除各省市的展馆以外,“央企馆”也是本次展会的一大看点。包括中国中铁、中船集团、中国商飞、中航科技等13家央企展示了有品牌、有质量、有市场的大国重器。

本次展会为期三天,观众可凭身份证免费入场参观。
