Foreigners presented Magnolia Award in Shanghai

The presentation ceremony for this year’s Shanghai Magnolia Awards was held in Shanghai on September 12.

Set up in 1989 by the Shanghai government, the Shanghai Magnolia Award is for those outstanding foreigners who have made great contributions to Shanghai society. This year, 50 foreigners from 19 countries in fields including trade, finance, science and technology, education, and intercultural exchange received the award.

Drazen Lukic, Executive Deputy General Manager of Nokia Shanghai Bell has been working in Shanghai for 11 years. He is very proud and honored to receive this honor. According to Drazen, the award could motivate him and his team to move forward so as to provide better products and services for Chinese customers. In terms of the information communication industry, he wishes China to drive and lead the global 5G development.

“It is a high recognition for me. Thanks to my outstanding team, we have made success. Thanks for the support from my colleague of Shanghai Electric,” said Werner Wilhelm Heinrich Gottschalk, Vice General Manager of SEPG Shanghai Turbine Plant.

To date, 1158 people have been given this award.
