1. Toyota exhibition cars to arrive in Shanghai on 20th October
On October 18, the Toyota cars to be exhibited in the first China International Import Expo were delivered to the Honmoku Pier, Yokohama, by China's COSCO Shipping Group. The vehicles to be showcased in the CIIE are the latest models from Toyota. The first batch of cars are being packed in a flat rack and will be shipped to Shanghai on October 20.
2. Commemorative stamps for the first CIIE open for pre-sale
The commemorative stamps and stamp folders of the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be on sale starting from November 5, and are already open for presale. The commemorative stamps include a set of two stamps which include elements of the expo logo, mascot and the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The commemorative stamp folders include an event opening version and an event closing version, with the commemorative envelope inside stamped with colored commemorative stamp marks featuring such elements as the mascot.
3. Public transit guidance for CIIE issued and App coming soon
The city's transportation bureau has issued the public transit guidance for CIIE, which is divided into five sections: Subway, City buses, Shuttle buses, Taxis and Parking lots. An app named "CIIE Public Transit" will also be launched soon, which will provide information on traffic conditions, visitor flow and ad-hoc control measures around the National Exhibition and Convention Center in addition to public transit guidance.
