Among them, a cooperation agreement reached between the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and a Chinese partner is expected to showcase the outstanding films and games that have won BAFTA Awards to the Chinese audience through leading Chinese media platforms.

"This is inspiringly good news. The signing of the agreement will promote employment and economic development in the creative industries of the UK and China," said Baroness Fairhead, Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion at the Department of International Trade.

Regarding Britain becoming the first country in Europe to sign a transnational agreement with China for television and film production, Baroness believes that it is a win-win.
