The 2018/19 Asian Le Mans Series will kick off in Shanghai on 25th November 2018.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans has a nearly one hundred-year history. It is world-famous and is a hallmark and a symbol of world automobile endurance events. Alongside the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and the Indy 500, it is recognized as the most prestigious and most grueling automobile race in the world.

In this season, the Asian Le Mans Series will be held in China, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. The first round of the Season will commence at the Shanghai International Circuit.

The Series retains four automatic entries for the Le Mans 24 Hours: the winner of the LMP2 and LMP3 classes will each receive an entry in the LMP2 class at the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans and there will be two LM GTE class entries for GT winners.
