South Korea's naval destroyer, Chungmugong Yi Sun-shin DDG-975, and the logistical support ship, Daecheong AOE-58, docked at the Wusong military port on Jan. 14, 2019, commencing their four-day exchange in Shanghai. It is the second visit for the destroyer and the sixth time for S. Korean naval ships in general to make a port call in the city.

The destroyer is 149.5 meters in length, 17.4 meters in width and 38.3 meters in height. It has a full-load displacement of 5,500 tonnes and a maximum speed of 30 knots.

The fleet formation, carrying 58 officers, 149 cadets and 443 sailors, berthed in French Tahiti before arriving in Shanghai. For their next stop, they will sail back to the Port of Chinhae in S. Korea.
