BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- China and Japan plan to hold the sixth dialogue between their finance ministers in Yokohama, Japan on May 6, China's Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday.

The talks may cover topics including the Chinese and Japanese macro economies and financial situation, according to a brief notice on the ministry website.

China's Finance Minister Xiao Jie and his Japanese counterpart Taro Aso will co-chair the dialogue.

The first China-Japan bilateral finance dialogue began in 2006.
